Meet Dr. Paraj Patel

 

Dr. Paraj Patel earned a Bachelor of Science degree in biological sciences from New Jersey Institute of Technology/Rutgers State University of New Jersey, and a Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Midwestern University College of Dental Medicine. Dr. Patel is a well-rounded practitioner and has focused most of his educational experience on esthetic dentistry and oral surgery. Dr. Patel has received the Odontographic Society Award for excellence in Clinical Skill and Leadership, and the Midwestern University College of Dental Medicine Award for Clinical Skill and Leadership. He has also successfully completed the rigorous Dawson Academy Continuum, and the Pacific Aesthetics Continuum full mouth rehabilitation course. Additionally, he is certified in implant placement and wisdom teeth removal. Dr. P prides himself in patient education and promoting good oral hygiene, because if he feels that creating a positive change in a patients understanding can greatly improve their health and well-being.

Fun Facts: He loves to karaoke (but he’s been told by several patients to not quit his day job). He used to be a competitive swimmer for his high school team. He loves plants.

Meet Dr. Julie Romanelli

 

Originally from Rockford, Illinois Dr. Romanelli has over two decades of dental knowledge and expertise. She received her bachelor’s in biology from Loyola University Chicago and her Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of Detroit-Mercy.

Prior to joining Roots Dental Studio, Dr. R owned and operated a highly successful multigenerational family dental practice where her uncompromising goal was to provide the very best dental care. She has earned respect among her colleagues as a highly accomplished general, family and cosmetic dentist, who strives to continue to educate herself, clinical staff, and patients. She prides herself in listening to her patients’ needs and answering questions for them. She understands that educating her patients and treating everyone how she’d like to be treated is a critical aspect to her success and legacy.

Dr. Romanelli lives in Naperville with her husband, Anthony. They both enjoy taking daily walks with the dog, cooking together, traveling, exploring new places and golfing.

Fun Fact: Dr. Romanelli collects all kinds of pencils!
